Wow! what a night, I couldnt believe the amount of friends and old foe from the track that came to give me so much support.  

What started as a fund raiser, by some friends at my local Delany's pub, ended up as a  gathering of hundreds of people from near and far to make a really unforgettable  evening that finished in the small hours of the following day.  

How wonderful to be taken back in time, talking to old rivals from many of those races  we had many years ago. I would like to thank everyone that came to  give me support and make the night what it was.  

Also, to numerous friends and companies, thanks for the great prizes donated for both raffle and auction. Likewise all those who musically entertained us throughout the evening!. I know - by the feedback I have  been getting - everyone had a great night which indeed is a testament to everyone that organised the event  - again thank you to all involved.  

Events of this magnitude don't just happen and I am very aware plenty of hours were spent  planning and preparing same. It shows as the night went like clockwork.  

Finally I would like to thank the management and very attentive staff of The Citywest Hotel for all they did for us on that memorable night. What a great venue to hold such a get together - to enjoy good food and mix with old friends not seen for years. I dont think we could ever repeat such a successful night again!.  

Once again thanks to everyone that made it such a very special night for me and my family.
